Comment: There is a good overview of the life in Cuba at http://www.frommers.com/destinations/Cuba/3173020876.html plus some tourist's advices.

mga_4431 * I almost missed my plane to Cuba. The airport speakers called my name. I was leasurely finishing a stiff egg Benedict while waiting for my plane leaving at 10:55. It was 9:55 and my plane was leaving. They rush me in. That would have been the straw that breaks the camel back. After two stressfull weeks of many 15 h work's day to rebuilt a college network after their server crashed, with my good friend M. P. * 3072 x 2048 * (1.35MB)

mga_4434 * La rue de ma première casa particular.
It tooks a long time to really commit to this trip. Choose the dates, buy the ticket, research Cuba touristic intricacy. I even hired a personal coach to teach me Spanish in a week. I had two sessions, then had to work every other nights...late, late, late. * 3072 x 2048 * (2.27MB)

mga_4436 * Monument Josée Marti
Elayne and Thomas were instrumental in the realisation of this personal project a new year resolution. I was so tightup until the last minute with the college problems. I'm still obsessed by DHCP and DNS properties. This is all I'm able to think about, server 2003, user profiles, Outlook. AAAARRRRRGGGGG!!!! * 2048 x 3072 * (1.68MB)

It will take me a few days to relax and enjoy the adventure.
When the plane lift in Toronto I start to cry..I have just arrived in my casa particular room. I lightly slept for 2 hours. The dogs barking and the family activity, kept me half awaked. Time to get out. I went around my block, like any other tourist in a new place the first night. * 3072 x 2048 * (1.85MB)

mga_4439 * A huge bus or a cattle box. Public transport is very creative in Cuba. This is called a camelo, un chameau à cause des deux bosses.
 * 3072 x 2048 * (2.32MB)

* 3072 x 2048 * (1.62MB)
